Lala Gets Upset as Thuy Eats Fruit Without Sharing

A small but spirited scene unfolded today in the home of one beloved monkey named Lala, as she expressed her clear frustration when her friend, Thuy, helped herself to a fruity snack—without inviting Lala to join in.

According to those present, the drama began shortly after lunchtime when Thuy entered the kitchen and began enjoying a plate of fresh tropical fruit, including bananas, mango slices, and watermelon. Unfortunately, Lala—known for her deep love of fruit—was not informed.

“When Lala realized what was happening, her reaction was immediate,” said one caretaker. “She stood frozen at the door, staring in disbelief, then let out a few frustrated squeaks before crossing her arms and turning her back.”

Lala’s expressive body language left no doubt: she felt left out. For a monkey who cherishes shared moments—especially when snacks are involved—Thuy’s fruit feast without her felt like a major betrayal.

Caretakers rushed to calm the situation, offering Lala her own plate of fresh fruit and gently explaining that Thuy hadn’t meant to exclude her. After a few bites and a cuddle from her favorite caretaker, Lala’s mood began to soften.

Experts say this kind of emotional response is completely normal in highly social animals like monkeys. “Lala is showing classic signs of social awareness,” said Dr. Tuan Minh, a local animal behaviorist. “Feeling left out, especially during mealtime, can trigger strong emotions—even in animals.”

The day ended on a sweet note: Thuy and Lala were later spotted sitting side by side, sharing a few banana slices and enjoying some playful tail taps—a sign that all was forgiven.

“Next time, we’ll make sure to call Lala first when the fruit comes out,” one caretaker laughed.

One thing’s for sure: in Lala’s world, fruit is better enjoyed together.
